Blaguard was originally a body guard of Alastair. Back then he didn’t have powers but was injected with a drug that gave him powers that didn’t manifest until later. When they did he gained the ability to slow down anyone he touches. For them it seems as though everyone is as fast as Lynx but actually they are the one moving at a snail’s pace. The effects are temporary, however the length of the affected person varies
