Shaun Martinez (also known as The Shadow, or Shadowen) is a fictional superhero from the Master Defenders universe. As the hero of New Mexico City, he served as the city's patron superhero. Though working with the Master Defenders on occasion and the Militia, he tends to work alone. That is until the Academy: Red storyline and Academy Fall.
As of the events after Academy Fall he is M.I.A.
